Education and Training

Portage Path hosts and participates in a

variety of programs to further the

advancement of clinical professionals.

Portage Path Student Training Program

The Portage Path Student Training Program provides a great opportunity for students from many training disciplines to receive real-world treatment experience that complements their academic program. While at Portage Path, students are assigned a clinical supervisor and provide therapy, group counseling, and clinical assessments to a diverse group of clients. Opportunities include the Portage Path Psychology Practicum Program for psychology students, as well as Internships for students of counseling, social work, and nursing. Former students have used their great experiences here to launch professional careers in the mental health field and to receive prime fellowships.
