How We Help

One in four Americans battle major depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, opioid addiction, or other serious behavioral health problems. This silent epidemic brings nearly 10,000 residents of northeast Ohio to Portage Path each year.

Helping All

Portage Path employs one of the largest groups of professionals in this region, trained in the latest techniques. Our staff consists of more than 75 professionals from every treatment discipline. This allows us to connect clients to the best therapists in one-on-one and small group settings.

Helping in Teams

Our outpatient services are organized into multi-disciplinary teams comprised of different clinical professionals – licensed counselors, social workers, psychologists, nurses, and psychiatrists. Outpatient teams meet every week to review cases to assure excellent comprehensive care.

Helping Dual Diagnosis Patients

Portage Path Behavioral Health is unique – offering comprehensive, whole person treatment for Dual Diagnosis clients. This is a term used to refer to a person who has both a chemical dependence problem and a psychiatric disorder.

Helping You Help Yourself

Behavioral health and recovery services help people improve their quality of life by improving their state of mind. You must participate to change. Medication is prescribed if necessary (and the prescription can be filled at our onsite pharmacy). Your clinician guides you, helping you establish and reach your goals.
