The billing side of health care can be complicated. Portage Path Behavioral Health understands this, and offers this straightforward information to help you navigate this part of your treatment. Portage Path accepts many insurances, offers financial assistance and provides an affordable sliding fee scale rate. We are driven by the promise to help all those who need our services, regardless of their ability to pay.

Financial Assistance/Sliding Fee Scale Portage Path Behavioral Health is an affiliate of the County of Summit Alcohol, Drug Addiction & Mental Health Services Board (ADM Board). This relationship allows us to offer a sliding fee scale to adult residents of Summit County in need of mental health services based on ability to pay. This sliding scale is based on gross monthly income and the number of persons in the family. Once you have been approved to receive services on the sliding scale, you are billed a flat fee per month. The County of Summit ADM Board assists Portage Path in providing a safety net for Summit County residents, helping to keep our community a healthy and safe place to live and work. We accept most major insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid, and a wide range of commercial insurers.
