Portage Path provides life-changing services to over 10,000 local people annually. Our clients are people who have chosen to make a commitment to recover from the difficult issues that keep them from leading a full, productive life.
Together with our warm professional staff, these brave people are able to begin rebuilding their lives. Consequently, they gain renewed sense of hope, and recover to the point where they can make a positive difference in their family and their community. So, when you support Portage Path, you are investing in the future of these local people, and in the future of our Akron and Summit County community.

- $50 helps provide a week’s worth of Transitional Support Group sessions for a man who’s recently been released from inpatient psychiatric care, to help him readjust and return to life in the community.
- $500 underwrites three months of counseling, psychiatry, and medication for someone trying to constructively manage Bipolar Disorder.
